AfterBon turns your receipt into a digital advertising channel with exclusive offers. Here is a step-by-step guide to getting the most out of AfterBon.
Step 1: Shop in store
Visit one of more than 3,000 retail locations at petrol stations or kiosks across Germany. Buy what you need:
- Fuel
- Snacks and drinks

Pay at the till as usual – cash, card or contactless.
Step 2: Get a receipt with a QR code
After paying, you receive your receipt – with something extra: a unique AfterBon QR code.
Step 3: Scan the QR code
Take your smartphone and scan the QR code on your receipt:
How to scan the code:
- iPhone: Open the Camera app and point it at the QR code. A banner appears – tap it.
- Android: Open the Camera app or Google Lens and scan the code.
- Alternative: use a QR scanner app from the App Store or Google Play.

Step 4: Redeem your offer and benefit
On the AfterBon page you will see your exclusive offer:
- View the offer: see which deal is waiting for you
- Enter the code: type the code shown on the page
- Redirect: you are sent to the partner website automatically
- Redeem: use your offer directly with the partner

Scenario: stop at your favourite petrol station
You: fill up for €50 and buy a coffee and a sandwich.
Receipt: includes the AfterBon QR code.
You scan: the QR code with your smartphone.

You enter: the code displayed.
